Grip Time Privacy Policy

Grip Time is a game about holding a button. Its appetite for your data is about as minimal as its gameplay. Here is everything it collects and why.

What we collect

• An anonymous account identifier. Created automatically so your progress can sync. It is a random ID — not your name, email, phone number, or anything about you.
• A display name, if you choose one. Only if you create an account for the leaderboard. It's shown publicly on the leaderboard, so pick something you're happy for strangers to see.
• Gameplay stats. Your total Grip Time and Best Grip are stored so the leaderboard can rank them.
• Grip Buddy data. If you use Grip Buddies, we store the unique button design generated for you, and a record of who accepted whose invite (so both sides can see the connection). When someone accepts your invite, your display name at that moment — if you have one — is saved with the button you sent them.

What we never collect

No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no location, no contacts, no cross-app tracking, no selling of anything to anyone. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and moves only over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Deleting your data

You can delete your account inside the app: open the Leaderboard, find the YOU card, and tap the trash icon. This permanently removes your profile and leaderboard entries from our servers. One thing to know: buddy buttons you've already sent to friends — and the name attached at the time you sent them — stay with those friends, like a letter you mailed.

Children

Grip Time is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information beyond what's described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
